The views of Lake Wakatipu, Cecil Peak and the surrounding mountains are stunning, uninterrupted and will be hard to beat. This property is ideal for a hassle-free holiday with its well equipped kitchen for self catering, secure off-street parking and is conveniently located to downtown Queenstown.


McKerrow View is located in Sunshine Bay only 3.7km from downtown Queenstown. There’s a convenience store, restaurant, bar and the local fish n chip shop all within a couple of minutes driving distance.



McKerrow View comprises of three levels. On the upper level is the open plan kitchen, dining and living area. It offers a functional and well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials required for a self-catering holiday. The comfortable living and dining area are a great place to relax in and enjoy the views from. The small outdoor balcony is a wonderful spot for a morning coffee or evening wine. The main entrance door opens into the mid-level where you go down a few stairs to two bedrooms and a guest bathroom. On the ground level is the third bedroom, second bathroom and internal access door from the single garage on this lower level and laundry facilities situated at the back of the garage. The single garage offers secure off-street parking for vehicles and storage for sporting equipment.

The bedrooms at McKerrow View have comfortable Queen beds, extra bedding, bedside cabinets with reading lamps and plenty of storage with the built-in wardrobes. Each of the bedrooms have mountain and lake views.

The lower level has the third bedroom with all of the same amenities as the other two bedrooms but offers a little more privacy as it’s the only bedroom on this level and has a separate bathroom.

Rental Information


  • Guests under the age of 25 can only check in with a guest 25 years or older. This guest must be on the booking confirmation
  • there is a 2.63% charge when you pay with a credit card
  • Free cancellation up to 30 days before arrival

Check in/out:

We will contact you via email two weeks prior to your arrival with check in details.

  • Check-in from 3:00 pm (15:00)
  • Check-out up to 10:00 am

If you require a late check-out please contact the Property Manager prior to your arrival.  Cleaners will arrive at the property just after 10am for the check-out clean and if guests delay this service a late check-out fee of $100 will occur.

Please note in all our holiday homes:

  • There is a strict no-smoking policy. If evidence of smoking is found in the home, an additional cleaning fee may apply
  • Noise must be kept to a minimum after 22:00 and before 08:00.
  • Have a strict 'No Party Policy'. Failure to comply with property policies may result in the eviction of guests and the loss of any deposits or payments made.
  • Sorry no Pets allowed.
